About BharatiyaVidya Bhavan

Founded in 1938 by Dr. K.M Munshi, BharatiyaVidyaBhavan is an intellectual, cultural and educational movement dedicated to the twin tasks of interpreting the age old yet ageless message of our country and of integrating our varied and vibrant culture with the changing needs of the present day world. It is India’s premier non-governmental, apolitical, secular, a national movement with an international outlook devoted to life-related education, literature, and culture. Our ideal is “VasudhaivaKutumbakam”, which means "the world is one family". BharatiyaVidya Bhavan's motto is "Let noble thoughts come to us from every side", a quote from the Rigveda. Bhavan, at present, owns the largest chain of educational institutions in India.
